About Colin Goldberg

Colin Goldberg has been exploring the intersection of painting and digital media for over 20 years, developing a style and artistic philosophy that he has defined as Techspressionism. Born in the Bronx, New York in 1971 to parents of Japanese and Jewish ancestry, Goldberg is a recipient of grants from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and The New York State Council on the Arts. He was a 2015 artist-in-residence at The Studios of Key West. Goldberg’s works reside in numerous private collections, as well as the permanent collections of the Islip Art Museum and the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center in Springs NY, the former home and studio of painters Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner. The artist currently lives and works in on the North Shore of Long Island, New York with his wife Donna and their daughter Aya.
